The Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) has recovered Rs 63 billion in 2007 with a significant growth of 25% as against Rs 50 billion recovered during the corresponding period last year. Rs 13 billion increase in recovery is the highest ever which also includes the SAM loans in addition to its regular loans thus making available more funds for farm credit, says a press release.
The bank also disbursed Rs 56 billion recording a 6% growth over the corresponding period last year exceeding last year's disbursement of Rs 52 billion. The bank regained its lost share which hovers above 35% in the overall agri credit target of Rs 160 billion.-PR
