The Department of Statistics, University of Sindh, in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will organise a one-day seminar on "Data Produced by Statistics and Data Warehouse Department".
The Vice Chancellor, University of Sindh, Mazhar ul Haq Siddiqui will preside over the seminar while the Director, Statistics and Data Warehouse Department of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Azizullah Khattak and Senior Joint Director of the department, Dr Ishaque Ahmed Ansari will be the speakers of the panel. Meanwhile, the University has extended the date for provisional admissions to its affiliated degree colleges for 2007-2008 session up to March 15.
The Registrar, M Saleh Rajar on Friday issued a notice saying that the dates for provisional admissions to Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom), BSW and BSc Home Economics Part-II classes of 2007-2008 session have been extended up to March 15 to simplify the process for the students. Interested candidates are hereby advised to contact the principals of affiliated degree colleges to get their admission forms, the notice said.
