Custom security officials on Sunday seized 460kg of hashish from a truck on Quetta-Chaman highway in suburb of the provincial capital on Sunday, Inspector Custom Ahmed Nawaz Zehri told APP.
Special raiding party of Custom started checking of trucks on Quetta-Chaman highway after receiving secret information about entrance of the truck in city, the Inspector said, adding the truck driver prior to reaching the checking point left his truck and managed to evade arrest. Custom officials seized the truck after recovery of hashish. Investigation is in progress.
