"Institutions are all about people, if you have quality people then you will have good institutions", said President Syed Ali Raza at the National Bank of Pakistan's "change management workshop".
In the inaugural speech, he informed the participants that NBP would soon launch a world class training centre to upgrade the skills of its employees. He appreciated Human Resources committee for taking bold initiatives in improving the approach and an outlook of the management.
The bank organised "change management" workshop for its senior executives, the programme combines a dynamic computer simulation of a business firm with some of the best learning materials on charge and business strategy available today.
This was presented in an interesting challenging and learning environment, enabling to focus on team dynamics. With support materials and exercises tailored for NBP, participants focused on the keys to long-term success in business and levers for change.
Mian Kausar Hameed, Director NBP Board, discussed how to use a systematic change management approach to identify stakeholders, determine and the change impacts the stakeholder, design and implement a change plan to minimise productivity impact, while embedding the capability to continually improve performance of the individual and the organisation in the changed environment.-PR
