Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) has launched an 'Energy Conservation Campaign' by providing energy saver bulbs at subsidised rates in seven districts of the region. This was stated by the CEO Fesco, Ahmed Saeed Akhtar while inaugurating the campaign at Fesco regional Customer Services Centre here on Monday.
Akhtar informed that 18,000 bulbs would be provided to 2.5 million consumers of Fesco belonging to Faisalabad, Sargodha, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Bhkkar, Mianwali and Khushab districts in order to create energy conservation awareness. He said that saver bulbs consume 80 percent less energy as compared to other bulbs and 57 percent as compared to tube lights.
