Unannounced electricity loadshedding continues at all three feeders of Naudero Grid Station despite the fact that higher Hesco and Wapda authorities have excluded the name of Naudero Grid Station from the list of cities/towns and villages where loadshedding is to be carried out, sources told PPI.
The sources further said that three feeders of Naudero Grid Station were specifically excluded from the list received by Hedco authorities at Hyderabad owing to the tragic death of Benazir Bhutto and arrival of VIPs at her grave and Naudero House to offer condolences. But the local Hesco Operation Sub-Division in connivance with Grid Station staff are openly violating the above directives.
When PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari is in Naudero, loadshedding ends but as soon as he leaves, it begins lasting from six to eight hours daily.
They carry out unannounced loadshedding on one pretext or the other in the name of faults in the line, tripping or non-supply from Guddu. These three feeders are Garhi Khuda Bux, Izat Ji Wandh and Naudero City feeders. Khalid Hussain Memon, General Secretary, Pakistan Peoples Party, Naudero, has urged the higher Hesco/Wapda authorities to force their local Operation Sub-Division and grid station staff to strictly comply with their instructions.
