Caretaker Sindh Health Minister, Fouzia Larri here on Thursday appreciated provincial Information Technology Department for automation of public facilities and capacity-building of concerned staff.
Addressing a seminar organised by Sindh Information Technology Department, she referred to steps underway to computerise public healthcare facilities across the province. "Linkages are being developed within one single facility and among different centres to help patients," Fouzia Larri observed.
The minister said the moot first of its kind in Sindh would provide a platform for identifying new avenues to not only promote information technology but also pave way for socio-economic development. The conference was also addressed by IT experts from both private and public sectors who assured all support to the Sindh government in its mission "Information Technology for All" and to harness its potential for public benefit.
