Former prime minister and head of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Nawaz Sharif met with visiting Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama here on Thursday. During the meeting held at Balochistan House, both the leaders discussed bilateral, geographical as well as strategic matters.
Sources said that PML-N leader expressed his reservation about the transparency of upcoming elections and urged the international community to send their independent observers to ensure the transparency of the election process.
Sri Lankan foreign minister said Sri Lanka desires the establishment of democracy in Pakistan.
