Tanwir Ahmed, a senior bureaucrat and former federal secretary was laid to rest in 7-UP Graveyard Lahore on Friday. He breathed his last on Thursday evening.
He served as Federal Secretary Education, Member Punjab Public Service Commission, Additional Secretary Punjab, Secretary Education Punjab, Secretary Industries, and Secretary Planning & Development Department etc. He also represented Pakistan as permanent Member FAO Rome in 1981 and served as Chairman Group of 77 Rome. He left behind five daughters and a widow.-PR
