Punjab University Center for South Asian Studies will hold a series of lectures on 4, 6, and 7th February 2008. Dr Musarrat Jabeen, Associate Professor, University of Balochistan, Quetta will deliver the special lectures on three important issues.
The inaugural ceremony will be held on Monday, February 4 at 10:45 am in the seminar hall of the center. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Dr Musarrat Jabeen will deliver first lecture on the same day on 'International Conflict Management Strategies in Water Stressed Regions - A Case Study of Balochistan (Post 9/11)'. The second lecture will be held on Wednesday February 6 at 10:45 on 'The Foreign Investment in Complexity of Globalisation - A Case Study of Balochistan' while the third and last lecture of the series will be held on Thursday February 7 at 10:45 am on 'South Asia & Management of Energy Security'.
