Pakistan Muslim League Central leader Pervaiz Elahi has claimed that his party will introduce a revolutionary programme to create jobs for the youth once it wins the election.
He told the party's Youth Wing' convention at the Muslim League House on Friday that his party would start a youth employment programme offering long-term loans to graduate holders to help them take up their own businesses. He also claimed they would get free technical know-how.
He said the same spirit was needed which was in 1947 when on the appeal of Quaid-i-Azam, the youth wing started a campaign for PML candidates in every village of undivided subcontinent. He said it was a moral duty of Youth Wing to foil conspiracies being hatched by the Zardaris from Sindh and the Punjab besides giving message of PML to the masses, which is of development, free education, reforms in every sector.
He said it is a moral duty of PML Youth Wing to stop all kinds of rigging conspiracy being hatched by Zardaris of Punjab and Sindh on polling day adding that the Youth Wing is the most organised wing of Pakistan Muslim League and it always played an important role in the Pakistan movement and in the days to come.
He said PML is the only party, which could steer the country out of every crisis adding that PML is the founder party of the country and it will safeguard its ideological boundaries. He said all the four provinces have supported the formation of a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent in 1947. Sindh is the first to pass the resolution in support of Pakistan, while NWFP supported Pakistan through referendum while Balochistan also played its role, he added.
He said it is the policy of PML to take all the provinces along with it as our identity is with Pakistan and history proved that Youth Wing played its vital role in the formation of Pakistan. He said it is the duty of Youth Wing to give a befitting reply of propaganda of those elements trying to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere and hatching conspiracies to divide Pakistan.
He said the atomic programme is very much in safe hands and if Pakistanis know how to develop and run the programme, they are fully capable of handling and safeguarding the same. He said the credit of improved financial and economic conditions goes to President Pervez Musharraf who also made the defence of the country invincible after which no country will dare to look at Pakistan with mala fide intentions.
Pervaiz said the people are still waiting for an answer from Nawaz League leaders that where the billions are gone which are collected in the name of "qarz utaro, mulk sanwaro" scheme. He said with what face the leaders of Nawaz League are saying that they will give free education as already the government of PML has introduced reforms in the education sector after which the education is free from class 1 to Matric besides girl students are given stipend and free books.
He said the leaders of Nawaz League had wasted time in searching for ghost schools but that too are not eliminated as the intentions are not serious. He said Nawaz League has no vision, no mission or agenda instead talking about mission of Benazir and General Ziaul Haq, the leaders of Nawaz League has joined the commission plan of Asif Zardari.
He hoped that PML will emerge as the single largest party after the upcoming elections adding that PML which guarantees strong Pakistan which is necessary not for the people of Pakistan but it is in the best interest of the region. Secretary-General Chaudhry Zaheeruddin Khan said Pakistan needed a leader like Elahi to lead the country.
Youth Wing President Raza Ali Shams said the wing always played a vital role in the Pakistan Movement and rendered sacrifices for the country. Jaffarul Hassan, president Sindh, said the upcoming elections will be held between extremists and moderates and final victory will be that of PML as it the only party representing federation and it is the only party having moderate leadership. Shabbir Ahmed, president Balochistan, said Baloch people always supported Pakistan and leader like Pervaiz Elahi is needed to develop the country. Ajmal Wazir Khan, president NWFP, said Nawaz League has no candidate in the province and people want leader like Elahi so that their problems could be resolved.
Senator Muhammad Ali Durrani, Mian Abdul Sattar, Faqir Bokhari and thousands of activists of youth wing from all the four provinces were also present. They raised loud slogans of "wazire azam Pervaiz Elahi (prime minister Pervaiz Elahi), kon karega ga rahnomai, Pervaiz Elahi (who will lead us, Pervaiz Elahi).
