The Punjab Irrigation and Development Authority is launching a web-site in two months to help farmers. Punjab Minister for Irrigation and Power Syed Dilawar Abbas told a farmers' delegation in his office on Friday that the web-site would be completed in two months.
He said 84 farmer organisations had received PCs and his government had started a computer literacy programme to train people. Vigilance Irrigation and Power Director Ahmad Abbas said a firm preparing the site would be responsible for maintaining it for four months after its launch.
