The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday dismissed a petition of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chief, Imran Khan, against Punjab government's order restraining him to leave Lahore.
Imran Khan had challenged an order of Punjab government issued by home secretary restraining him to leave for Karachi from Lahore on July 26, 2007, arguing that the order amounts to illegal confinement, when a person is directed to remain in a particular place or area and disallowed to leave the area without an authority's permission.
