The Secretary General of Kisan Board Pakistan, Jam Hazoor Buksh has implored the Cane Commissioner to take appropriate steps to ensure millions of rupees payments to the farmers that are held stuck by the sugar mill owners.
Buksh said that sugar mill owners were reluctant to pay millions of rupees to the farmers are earning huge interest form the banks. Also he said that decrease in cane prices would further aggravate the financial miseries of the poor growers.
