The District Government Jhang providing Rs 4 million annually for running 273 feeder schools to ensure education in far-flung areas of the district. The district has attained exemplary success in education in collaboration with the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) and the same expertise should be employed in the health sector.
District Nazim Jhang Sultan Hameed expressed these views while addressing the participants of "District Stakeholders Seminar" here at Jinnah Hall, Chiniot. The National Commission for Human Development organised the seminar.
The district Nazim said they had achieved target of 96 percent enrolment up to middle level which had help brought down its rating from 30th to 5th in the province in the education sector.
