Sharp rise was seen in the Masoor prices on the grain market on Saturday as most of the commodities maintained the overnight levels in process of thin business, dealers said. On the cereals side, Masoor from Australia and Canada picked up Rs 300 to Rs 5700 and dal Mosoor gained Rs 400 to Rs 6500-6700 amid subdued business, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh was up by Rs 5 to Rs 2135-2140 due to tight supply position, they added. Other types maintained the overnight levels.
