The Health Minister, Punjab, Aslam Humayun said on Sunday that the health department has made special arrangements for rapid response in case bird flue was detected in the province. He said special teams and medicines have been arranged to treat and test affected persons immediately.
The Minister, further describing special measures regarding bird flue epidemic said that isolation rooms for bird flu affected persons had been reserved in all teaching hospitals and other public sector hospitals of the province.
