Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that PML-Q central leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will soon visit the other provinces in connection with election campaign.
Talking to reporters at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology here on Monday, where he inquired after the health of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) candidate for National Assembly from Lahore, Tariq Badurddin Bandey, who suffered a heart attack, Shujaat said he was misquoted during his press conference in Karachi as he did not speak about Lal Masjid, Balochistan or Atta crisis. "Media misquoted him and such actions always harmed the peaceful atmosphere in the country", he added.
To a query about Dr Qadeer Khan, he said he was not under arrest, but all measures were taken due to security reasons. About the health of Tariq Bandey, he said the doctors and the staff of the hospital are taking very good care of him and rest is with Allah Almighty. He prayed for his early recovery.
