PIA issues over 140 million 'A' class shares

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has issued 140,444,307 'A' class shares having a total face value of Rs 1,404,443,070 to federal government. A certificate to this effect had been issued on December 07, 2007, PIA in its letter sent to Karachi Stock Exchange said.
The capital of PIA, after addition of above shares has increased to 2,088,557,379 shares, comprising of 2,087,057,380 'A' class shares and 1,499,999 'B' class shares.
