Memon appointed director of Kazi Institute

Sindh University Syndicate has appointed Dr Muhammad Usman Memon as new Director of Dr M A Kazi Institute of Chemistry, University of Sindh, in its 16th meeting held on Wednesday. The meeting was presided over by Vice Chancellor of the University, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui. The syndicate also appointed Dr Shahmsuddin Shaikh as new Chairman of the department of Zoology.
Acknowledging the scholarly services of the noted scholar Professor Dr A J Halepota it was decided to name the seminar library of the department of Comparative Religion and Islamic Culture as Professor Dr A J Halepota seminar library. The meeting approved the minutes of the 136th and 137th meeting of the Selection Board regarding appointment of faculty members.
