US wheat futures opened higher on Thursday, with the spot March contracts at the Chicago Board of Trade, the Kansas City Board of Trade and the Minneapolis Grain Exchange rising the 30-cent limit amid export demand and dwindling supplies of old-crop US wheat, traders said.
As of 9:37 am CST (1537 GMT), CBOT March wheat was up 22 cents at $10.55 per bushel after rising the 30-cent limit to $10.63.
