A 30-member delegation headed by Pakistan Foundry Association President Sikandar Mustafa Khan is attending between February 7 and 10 the 68th World Foundry Congress and the 56th Indian Foundry Congress and Exhibition IFEX-08.
The Indian Institute of Foundry is organising the event with the World Foundry at the Trade Centre Chennai in India. The theme is "cast for competitive edge" to provide an opportunity for dissemination of information on all subjects connected with the metal industry. Delegates from Pakistan, India, China, Bulgaria, Thailand, Turkey and Spain are expected to attend the congress with 300 exhibitors displaying their products at the exhibition.
