Malaysia hopes to introduce palm-blended biodiesel this year, the country's commodities minister said on Tuesday. "I have always said that 2008 may be the year that we can introduce it," Commodities Minister Peter Chin told Reuters in an interview in the Malaysian administrative capital.
"I still hold on to that belief. I hope we can do it this year. But cabinet has to make the final decision. I have to convince my colleagues in the cabinet."
