Pakistani peacekeeping troops have begun training reintegrated members of the Armed Forces Democratic Republic of Congo following their professional standards in restoring peace and order in the war-ravaged Congo.
The 13-week training task force programme is meant to reorganise the disbanded battalions so as to provide permanent security basis for consolidation of peace in turbulent regions. The programme will enhance the technical and operational capacities of integrated FARDC brigades deployed in the most volatile Eastern region.
