At least three people died when an over-speeding jeep skidded off the road and plunged into a deep ravine at Kachi Galli in Kaghan Valley here on Sunday.
According to police, the ill-fated jeep carrying passengers was heading towards Balakot when it reached near Kachi Galli the driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a turn and fell into deep ditch. As a result three people were killed on the spot.
The administration and locals rushed to the site of accident and carried out relief and rescue operation and removed the bodies to the nearby hospital. The deads are identified as Abdur Rashid, Jahanzeb and Muhammad Khalid. Police have registered the case and started investigation.
