The Director General, Health Services, Sindh, Dr Ghulam Nabi Memon on Sunday declared emergency in all government hospitals and asked all Executive District Officers Health of the province to ensure availability of all facilities to meet any emergency before and after the Elections-2008.
In his directives to all Executive District Officers, the DG Health Services directed to cancel the leave of all medical and para-medical staff and ensure their round-the-clock availability in the hospitals along with life-saving medicines and ambulances.
No negligence in this regard would be tolerated, he maintained, and warned that strict action would be initiated against those found guilty in negligence of duty.
