DSP Tehsil Matta, Swat district, survived life attempt when miscreants in a failed bid tried to detonate his vehicle he was boarding at Bara Banda in the jurisdiction of Kabal Police Station in Swat District Sunday afternoon.
"No one received injury and DSP Matta, Haroon Rashid is safe and sound", said a police official when contacted by APP. The vehicle of the DSP had just passed from the site of the blast when the miscreants detonated the explosive device planted on the road side.
The blast is second in a row during last 24 hours as a suicide bomber Saturday night rammed his explosive laden vehicle into the entrance of the Media Centre, killing three persons and injuring four others.
