The University of Sindh (SU) and Intel Pakistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order to build a collaborative relationship aiming at promoting effective skill of Information Technology (IT) among teachers and students.
Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Rafia Ahmed Shaikh, on behalf of the Vice Chancellor SU and Country Manager of Intel Pakistan, Syed Ashar Hussain Zaidi signed the agreement. According to the MoU, the SU and Intel would jointly promote the IT aided learning in the education environment and teach the Intel-teach pre-service programme as part of the Instructional Technology course at the SU to BEd and MEd students.
As per the MoU, the BEd and MEd students would be trained for the field. It was signed that the university will provide adequate opportunity to the Intel representatives to interact with faculty members and students for guidance and training.
