The current term system for five year MBBS programme at Dow Medical College (DMC) and Sindh Medical College (SMC) would be replaced with semester system from the next academic session. This was unanimously approved by the members of Dow University of Health Sciences' Academic Council in its 10th Meeting here on Saturday.
The Academic Council agreed that semester would also be introduced at Dow International Medical College and Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Institute of Oral Health Sciences.
