Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman held an important meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari at Zardari House. Other JUI (F) leaders including former NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani, Amjad Khan, Gul Naseeb and Mufti Abrar Ahmed were also present in the meeting, private news channel reported.
They exchanged views on important issues including formation of new government during the meeting, which lasted for two and half an hour. It was the right of PPP and PML-N to form the coalition government as the people had given them the mandate in the elections, Fazl said. "We accept the results of the elections despite some reservations," he said.
