Father figure

Mr Asim Munir in his letter (February 22, 2008), has tried to salvage the severely tarnished image of the President from a sorry figure to fatherly figure.
He is forgetting that his statement came before the election when there were "predictions" of a future PM who would require a God father! May I ask Mr Munir if he can recall any occasion where the President had played a fatherly figure to the poor of this nation or where a common man would have been granted peace, justice, humility, adequate opportunity to earn livelihood for his family, essentials of life, freedom of expression and the list can go on. Can this fatherly figure come in open and meet common man? Please be reminded that there is only one Divine Power in this world.
