Senate's Acting Chairman Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali has strongly condemned the suicide bomb blast in Rawalpindi on Monday afternoon, in which several persons were killed, including Lieutenant General Mushtaq Ahmad Baig, Surgeon General of Pakistan Army and Principal, Army Medical College, Rawalpindi.
Jan Jamali said the dastardly act was apparently designed to shatter the peace and tranquillity and to demoralise the people, and those perpetrating these heinous crimes have no morality or religion, and enemies of the people and the entire humanity. The Senate acting chairman praised the services of late Lieutenant General Mushtaq Ahmad Baig. 'In his death the country had lost a dedicated professional, who remained devoted to his duty till the last moment of his life,' Jamali's condolence message said.
