The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has arrested three more militants, who were allegedly involved in the murder of nine foreigners at different places of the metropolis.
Police sources said that CID earlier had arrested 10 militants of newly established militant outfit Tehreek-e-Islami Lashkar-e-Muhammadi on February 15, during probe they revealed six more names of their accomplices.
On a tip off, CID has arrested three of them identified as Zubairuddin, Asif Pasha and Atif at Manzoor Colony, police said. Police has recovered two pistols and a snatched motorcycle from them. While three other absconders including Wajahat, Ashraf and Zubair were arrested.
According to police, arrested suspect militants had allegedly killed seven foreign NGO representatives injecting toxic solution besides killing two other foreigners at Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Defence. Police said that accused killed nine foreigners because the deceased were Christians and working for Research and Analysing Wing (RAW).
