The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) has started recovery campaign against defaulter industrial units at Korangi and Bin Qasim industrial areas. According to press release of KWSB the water supply of around 15 industrial units has been disconnected on Monday, due to non-payment of water charges.
Out of total 15 industrial units, 11 industrial units are located at Korangi Industrial area while other 4 units are situated at Bin Qasim town, release said. According to the list defaulter industrial units prepared by KWSB, revealing 15 industrial units have outstanding amount of around Rs 3.2 million.
The defaulter industries are Ahmed Enterprise, National Woolen textile, Maza Pakistan, Imran Ice Factory, Maza Pakistan-2, Prolain (Pvt) Ltd, Gul Enterprise, Prolain-2, Moonaliza Fruit Juice at Korangi Industrial Area while Haji Ghulam Muhammad, Haji Ghulam Mustafa, Muhammad Hussain and Muhammad Akram Qureshi at Bin Qasim town.-PR
