The Karachi Port handled 120,032 tonnes cargo including 70,261 tonnes import, 49,771 tonnes export cargo and 4,182 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday. The cargo comprised of 63,242 tonnes dry cargo including 43,211 tonnes general cargo; 9,550 tonnes Coal; 4,149 tonnes Cement and 56,790 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Eight ships namely Hyundai Highway, Filippa, Creek, Spica, Noor-e-Madina, Morning Glory-III, Winco Uno and Capetan Custis sailed out to sea during the report period. Eight vessels viz Nord Voyager, Hanjin Qinglao, YM Moji, Ninth Ocean, Winco Uno, MT Johar, Saja-A and Rising Sun are currently at the berths.
Six ships namely Malakand, Saja-A, Breeze, Nats Emperor, Hanjin Qingdao and YM Moji expected to sail on Friday, while four vessels viz Ninth Ocean, MT Johar, Hyun Jin and Rising Sun are expected to sail on Saturday.
Four vessels viz Kota Perdana, Valbella, Al-Aqeela-II and Golden Arrow-II due to arrive on Friday, while eight ships namely MT Swat, St Irene, Sp 5-Eric G. Gibson, Bunga Delima, Harmony, Jitra Bhum, Gentle and San Jiang Kou are due to arrive on Saturday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 97,387 tonnes comprising 80,983 tonnes import and 16,404 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,005 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 28,162 tonnes Furnace Oil; 11,893 tonnes Palm Oil; 24,615 tonnes Wheat; 15,713 tonnes Iron Ore; 600 tonnes Chemicals; 4,344 tonnes Rice and 12,060 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely CV Salah Al-Deen and Vema Cap sailed out to sea on Friday morning, while another ship namely Chembulk Singapore is expected to sail on the same day afternoon.
A total of seven ships namely Maersk Davavo, Maersk Novazzano, Lahore Express, Star Gama, Leopard-B, Lotus and Liquid Challenger carrying Containers, Wheat, Cement, Crude Oil and Palm Oil respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Eight vessels viz CV Salah Al-Deen, MV Islamabad, MT Chembulk Singapore, MT Vema Cap, MV Annoula, MV Halis Kalkavan, MT Yanaseni and Blumenau are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Rice, Palm Oil, Furnace Oil, Wheat, Chemicals and Iron Ore respectively during last 24 hours.
Four ships namely CV Lahore Express, CV Maersk Novazzano, MT Liquid Challenger and MT Lotus carrying due to take berths at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and FOTCO Terminal respectively on Friday.
Container vessel viz Sima Pars due to arrive on Friday, while four more ships namely CV CMA CGM Turkey, CV MSC Palermo, MT Nordmerkur and MV Anastasias carrying Containers, Diesel Oil And Iron Ore are due to arrive on Saturday.
