Pakistan Muslim League-N on Sunday accused the Presidency of hatching conspiracy against those political parties who emerged as larger parties with heavy mandate in the February 18 elections.
Addressing a news conference at the party central secretariat here, PML-N central leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that President Musharraf had made the Army House centre of conspiracies against the political parties who won last month's parliamentary elections.
President has been holding meetings with PML-Q members regularly to subvert the people's will, he alleged. PML leader reiterated that he (president) has no logical reason to stay as President of Pakistan as the masses voted against him and his party in the elections.
He also demanded of the President to vacate the Army House immediately. Nisar also warned that if any party or country tried to keep his party out of power corridors that would have serious consequences ahead.
To another question, he said his party members would not take oath under the PCO as the party stance is very clear from the day first that it would take under the 1973 original constitution.
To a question, Khan said there was positive progress on all the issues between the coalition partners-PML-N, PPP and ANP as it was decided that PML-N would support PPP in the center and it would support us in Punjab.
Nisar opined that PML-N had been in constant contact with each other to amicably iron out differences on all the issues. He repeated that PML-N had reservations on PPP's decision to form coalition with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Sindh but it will not create any obstacles in this regard.
PML leader also blamed the Election Commission of Pakistan for marginalizing the poll results. He also condemned the recent increase in petroleum prices, contradicting the statement of government that all political parties including PML-N was consulted before increasing the prices.
