The Karachi Port handled 158,875 tonnes cargo including 86,517 tonnes import, 72,358 tonnes export cargo and 4,894 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The cargo comprised of 98,706 tonnes dry cargo including 61,388 tonnes general cargo; 37,318 tonnes Bulk cargo and 60,169 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Sixteen ships namely Sp 5-Eric G. Gibson, Oel Strength, Kota Perdana, Bunga Delima, St Irene, Harmony, Ninth Ocean, MT Johar, Hyun Jin, Gagasan Melaka, Nord Voyager, Rising Sun, Ecstacy, Chemroar Luna, Oriental Orchid and Pacific Arrow sailed out to sea during the report period.
Fifteen vessels viz Pacific Arrow, Golden Arrow-II, Valbelia, Bunga Delima, St Irene, Oel Strength, Daniela, Jitra Bhum, Harmony, Gentle, San Jiang Kou, Westama, MT Swat and Oriental Orchid are currently at the berths.
Five ships namely Daniela, Nordwoge, MT Swat, Gentle and Golden Arrow-II expected to sail on Monday, while two vessels viz Westama and Valbelia are expected to sail on Tuesday. Three vessels viz Erria Maria, Kapitan Byankkin and Cape Arago due to arrive on Monday, while six ships namely Augusta, Apl Shenzhen, Arnis, Cape Negro, Bulk Arrow and Al-Aqeela-II are due to arrive on Tuesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 77,019 tonnes comprising 53,019 tonnes import and 14,000 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 2,123 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 8,058 tonnes Crude Oil; 9,415 tonnes Wheat; 22,244 tonnes Iron Ore; 11,457 tonnes Chemicals and 25,845 tonnes containerised cargo. Container ship namely CMA CGM Turkey sailed out to sea on Monday morning, while five more ships namely CV MSC Palermo, MV Halis Kalkavan, MT Lotus, Liquid Success and MT Yanaseni are expected to sail on the same day afternoon.
A total of four ships namely Maersk Davavo, MSC Lucia, Nordmerkur and Leopard-B carrying Containers, Diesel Oil and Cement respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Eight vessels viz CV MSC Palermo, CV CMA CGM Turkey, MV Star Gama, MV Halis Kalkavan, MT Lotus, MT Liquid Success, MT Yanaseni and MV Anastasia are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Wheat, Crude Oil, Chemicals and Iron Ore respectively during last 24 hours.
Five ships namely CV Maersk Davavo, CV MSC Lucia, MT Nordmerkur, MV Karavados and MT Chem Star Hero carrying Containers, Diesel Oil, Wheat and Chemicals due to take berths at Container Terminal, FOTCO Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and Engro Terminal respectively on Monday. Nine vessels viz ACX Tsubaki, Maersk Virginia, MT Al-Soor-II, Kaghan, MV Princess Natalia, Karavados, MT Helien, Chem Star Hero and Al-Mansourah due to due to arrive.
