The Karachi Port handled 82,951 tonnes cargo including 27,590 tonnes import, 55,361 tonnes export cargo and 3,010 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday. The cargo comprised of 80,951 tonnes dry cargo including 40,822 tonnes general cargo; 40,129 tonnes Bulk cargo and 2,000 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Filippa, San Jiang Kou and Cape Negro sailed out to sea during the report period. Ten vessels viz Hyundai Advance, Creek, Montana, Orbit, Vinashin Metal, Zhen Hua-5, Jo Birk, Errla Maria, POS Knight and Ltc Calvin P. Titus are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Hyundai Advance, Sealo-1, POS Knight and Ltc Calvin P. Titus expected to sail on Friday, while four vessels viz Vinashin Metal, Rubia, Obs Swathy and Orient Stride are expected to sail on Saturday.
Four vessels viz Lalazar, Stolt Heron, Ltc Calvin P. Titus and Hansa Liberty due to arrive on Friday, while seven ships namely Bow Line, Al-Kortoubi, Oel Shreyas, Bunga Kenari, Power Rangery, Shaheen Al-Ghanim 10 and Ibn Batouta are due to arrive on Saturday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 85,606 tonnes comprising 45,274 tonnes import and 40,332 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 4,368 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Friday. The cargo comprised of 5,000 tonnes Palm Oil; 14,618 tonnes Wheat; 10,551 tonnes Coke and 55,437 tonnes containerised cargo. Four ships namely MT Al-Soor-II, MT Hellen, CV Maersk Davavo and CV Al-Mariyah sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
A total of five ships namely MSC Eagle, Norfolk Express, Al-Salam-II, Kaghan and Leopard-B carrying Containers, Diesel Oil, Iron Ore and Cement respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven vessels viz CV Maersk Novazzano, CV Al-Mariyah, CV Maersk Davao, MV Silver Gate, MV Karavados, MV Princess Natalie and MT Hellen are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Wheat, Coke and Palm Oil respectively during last 24 hours. Two vessels viz CV Norfolk Express and MT Al-Salam-II due to take berths at Container Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal respectively on Friday.
Container vessel viz Dubai Express is due to arrive on Saturday. Six ships namely MSC Santhya, Maersk Missouri, Nedlloyd America, Grigoroussa-I, Aqeela-1 and Nord Vision are also due to arrive.
