The Karachi Port handled 111,921 tonnes cargo including 56,476 tonnes import, 55,445 tonnes export cargo and 4,438 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 103,864 tonnes dry cargo including 58,958 tonnes general cargo; 5,920 tonnes Wheat; 3,000 tonnes Coal; 1,670 tonnes Rock Phosphate; 4,365 tonnes Cement; 26,334 tonnes Clinker; 3,617 tonnes Rice and 8,057 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Five ships namely Hyundai Advance, Ltc. Calvin P. Titus, Sealo-1, Pos Knight and Creek sailed out to sea during the report period. Six vessels viz Ltc. Calvin P. Titus, YM Inauguration, Hansa Liberty, Furtrans Bulk, Bulk Arrow and Stolt Heron are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Rubia, Bengal Orchid, Montana and Hansa Liberty expected to sail on Saturday, while six vessels viz Bunga Kenari, YM Inauguration, Obs Swathy, Furtrans Bulk, Orient Stride and Hopi Princess are expected to sail on Sunday.
One ship namely Bulk Arrow is also expected to sail on Monday. Five vessels viz Al-Kortoubi, Bunga Kenari, Wan Hai-311, Power Ranger and Shaheen Al-Ghanim 10 due to arrive on Saturday, while six ships namely Ibn Batouta, Itha Bhum, Harmony, Kosmos, Lucky Arrow and Love Song are due to arrive on Sunday. Three ships namely MT Johar, Happy Venture and Alam Senang are also due to arrive on Monday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 136,106 tonnes comprising 109,706 tonnes import and 26,400 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 3,889 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 48,464 tonnes Diesel Oil; 24,948 tonnes Wheat; 10,959 tonnes Coke and 51,735 tonnes containerised cargo. Three ships namely MT Al-Salam-II, CV Maersk Novazzano and CV Norfolk Express are expected to sail on Saturday.
A total of four ships namely MSC Eagle, Dubai Express, Kaghan and Leopard-B carrying Containers, Iron Ore and Cement respectively are currently at the outer anchorage. Six vessels viz CV Maersk Novazzano, CV Norfolk Express, MV Silver Gate, MV Karavados, MV Princess Natalie and MT Al-Salam-II are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Wheat, Coke and Diesel Oil respectively during last 24 hours.
Two vessels viz CV MSC Eagle and CV Dubai Express due to take berths at Container Terminal on Saturday. Three vessels viz CV MSC Santhya, MV Aqeela-I and MT Grigoroussa-I carrying Containers, Sulphur and Furnace Oil due to arrive on Sunday, while two more container ships namely Maersk Missouri and Nedlloyd America are due to arrive on Monday. Two ships namely Al-Mansourah and Nord Vision with Cement and Wheat are also due to arrive.
