Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Quaid and former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif met Saudi Ambassador Ali Awadh Al-Asseri at the Saudi Embassy here on Wednesday. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest came under discussion, party sources said.
The sources said the Saudi ambassador congratulated the PML-N Quaid over the party's success in February 18 elections and hoped that the new government would further strengthen relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Nawaz told the ambassador that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the kingdom, according to the sources.
