The annually held flower show will begin here in the city on Thursday, with the participation of students, industrial estates, district government departments as well as private nurseries.
Organising Committee's Secretary Professor Tariq Nadeem said while talking to newsmen on Wednesday. "Thirty-eight stalls of a wide variety of flowers will be set up and the participants will be judged in six categories. Those who will get top three positions in each category will be awarded with cash prizes, shields and certificates", he added.
Unilever Pakistan's Vice Chairman/Supply Chain Manager Qaiser Alam would be the chief guest at the show, which is to be continued till March 15. This gesture to welcome spring is held here for the last 20 years.
