The International Islamic University (IIU) will start its 20th annual cultural festival for boys from March 18. The festival would include an international exhibition, in which students from 57 countries would participate and put on display various items representing their respective cultural heritage, says a statement here on Monday.
The students will set up stalls preparing special food dishes besides displaying items depicting their life style. The event would also feature sports, debate, seminars, Qirat and Naat competitions. Ambassador of China to Pakistan Luo Zhao Hui will inaugurate the event, while IIU President Dr Anwar Hussain Siddiqui will preside over the ceremony. The concluding ceremony of the week would be held on March 20.
