Alhaj Muhammad Ashraf Khokhar planted the seed of Ashraf Industries in 1969 with the wish to manufacture various garments. This was the first factory of its kind in Industrial Estate in Edition to four factories which were manufacturing sports goods. Ashraf Industries started exporting Martial Arts uniforms to Japan in 1974. By means of its outstanding quality.
Ashraf Industries competed the world leaders within a very short span of time. The size of exports enhanced from mere some thousand dollars to million dollars per annum. Ashraf Industries competed their competitors of Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China only with the quality consistency and commitment. Mr Ijaz A. Khokhar joined the hands of his father in 1974 while his younger brother was on board ten years later. Both of them worked hard with zeal and dedication to take their business to new avenues and heights. In 1992, Haji Muhammad Ashraf Khokhar met the Allah Almighty after a cardiac arrest in Hong Kong at the age of sixty three.
Both brothers remained united even after the sudden death of their beloved father and kept the pace of progress upright to reach the remarkable milestones. Ashraf Industries not only manufactured the products of leading international brands but also have introduced their own brand Tochi-Gi brand with the stamp of made in Pakistan. This brand has also gained high stature in the world markets. The terms of 17 European countries have been wearing the uniforms made by Ashraf Industries in the international events including Olympics.
