The stepmother of Caretaker Prime Minister Muhammadmian Soomro, Sarwat-un-Nisa has announced that she is joining Pakistan Ehtesab Party (PEP). Her announcement came in a press conference on Monday at Lahore Press Club where she, accompanied with party central general secretary Farooq Ali Awan, claimed that she decided to do so because the Ehtesab Party's manifesto had impressed her.
She also said that she wanted to play her role in providing justice to the people of Pakistan. Awan said, he hope that the new government would work for people. He also demanded that the government should cut the diplomatic relations with Denmark and its products because of anti-Islamic cartoons.
