Cocoa arrivals at Ivory Coast's port of San Pedro reached 446,254 tonnes from October 1 to March 16, according to data from the Coffee and Cocoa Bourse (BCC) obtained by Reuters on Tuesday. That compared with 370,415 tonnes delivered to the port during the same period of the 2006/07 season, the data showed.
The figures showed 7,923 tonnes arrived at San Pedro port from March 10 to 16, up from 2,930 tonnes in the same period of the 2006/07 season. Data for the port of Abidjan were not immediately available.
