The daily trading limit for wheat futures on the Minneapolis Grain Exchange will revert to 60 cents per bushel for Thursday's session, narrowing from 90 cents, the exchange said on Wednesday. The limits at the Chicago Board of Trade and the Kansas City Board of Trade remain at 60 cents.
Under rules implemented last month, the daily limit for wheat widens by 50 percent when two or more contract months within a crop year, or the remaining contract month in a crop year, close at a limit bid or limit offer. The limit reverts to 60 cents after no wheat futures contract month closes at the expanded limit bid or limit offer for three consecutive business days.
