Federal Petroleum, Natural Resources and Sports Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the restoration of deposed Judges was top on the agenda of the new government and there are no technical and legal hurdles in the restoration of the judges.
Talking to Business Recorder here on Saturday at Pakistan Muslim League Office he revealed that government was considering resolving most sensitive issue of deposed judges and edging out the possibilities of such incidents in future through a new law. Khawaja Asif further said that all democratic forces are committed to work collectively for the supremacy of law and independence of judiciary for converting the country into a real democratic state.
The Federal Minister further stated that PML-N had spell out some conditions for making MQM as coalition partner if its leadership is agree for independent probe into May 12th incident, accept Charter of Democracy and Murree Declaration. Pakistan Muslim League-N believes in democracy and would continue its efforts for strengthening the democratic institutions in the country he said.
Meanwhile, Federal Petroleum Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif accorded warm welcome by the elected MNAs, MPAs and workers of Pakistan Muslim League-N on the arrival at Pakistan Muslim League House. It may be mentioned that the federal Minister has refused to obtain protocol and security.
