Thin trading was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Monday as several buyers were on the sidelines to see prices come down to the lowest levels, dealers said.
The May vaida opened at Rs 769.00 and during the day it gained 50 paisa to be day's best at Rs 769.50 and closing was seen at the same level. During the day it shed Re.1 to be day's lowest at Rs 768.50, they said.
The July vaida commenced at Rs 787.00, in process of business, it rose by Rs 1.50 to be day's highest at Rs 788.50 and also closed at the same level. During the day, it lost Re.1 to be day's bottom at Rs 787.50, they observed.
