Defence Minister, Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar has said that government would meet every requirement of its armed forces to make defence of the country impregnable. "We will fulfil defence needs of the country on priority basis to keep the frontiers safe and secure," the minister said.
While talking to Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Tariq Majeed here on Tuesday. General Tariq called on the Federal Minister and discussed with him matters pertaining to the Armed Forces of the country.
Chairman, JCSC congratulated the minister upon assuming the charge of the Ministry of Defence. Later, talking to media, Chaudhry Mukhtar, said that only a strong and impregnable defence could guarantee the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the country.
