Lahore Tax Bar Association (LTBA) president Mohsin Nadeem has said that tax practitioners are facing problems due of lack of suitable place to be used as Bar Room.
In a meeting with the DG Regional Tax Office in Lahore, along with newly elected office bearers, he demanded immediate provision of adequate place for Bar Room so that this longstanding demand could be fulfilled and enable the bar members to hold meetings in a congenial atmosphere.
He said that their genuine demands should be met on top priority basis and demanded of the government to prepare next budget by following taxpayers' suggestions so that their problems should be resolved. He said past regimes ignored this important sector constantly. Director General Haji Ahmed assured the LTBA president and other office bearers of his full cooperation in resolving their problems and said the demands would be sent to the government and every possible effort would be made to address their inconvenience.
